Google assistant in lock mode - Not WORKING - HELP

I have (had) many phones and i recently I have got a  Galaxy A23. I have no idea but, even if set in the google options, the assistant is not working at all  when in LOCK MODE. Please note that the specific option in the assitant to work once in lock mode is set. Ihave also teste to set it to off and than back on without any result.

In all the phones i own the setting is the same and Google Assistant works perfectly also when in lock mode too. But it's not working on the A23.

Any idea?

In these cases, we recommend that you try:

> To clear data in the Google Assistant app by going to settings - apps - Search for Google Assistant - Storage - clear data

> Also try reinstalling the app

> Check if there is an update for the app by opening Google Play - Search for Google Assistant , if an update is available you will find the Update option next to the app name.

Should unfortunately not this remedy your perceived problem, in this case you need to contact Google directly for further assistance in the matter as it concerns a Google function.

Look in the Google app info under apps in settings. Check in notifications that lock screen and lock screen notification are allowed and shown
