Galaxy s24 ultra poor battery life

Hello!! Is it just me with the s24 ultra who thinks that the battery doesn't seem to go any further, is there a specific app perhaps that draws battery unnecessarily in the background that is not needed?

Depends on how long you have been using the phone. As goes for a new phone, it will take a week for it to learn your usage patterns and adjust the battery life accordingly.

You can also check the settings for "Battery" and "Device wellbeing" your usage patterns and power-consuming apps to see if there's anything out of the ordinary.

Other than that. I'd recommend you talk to the support team to see if it's a manufacturing defect.
