Might as well go for the s24 series as trade in deals are good on it as well.

Have ordered the s24 + for less then £499 with trade in.

Yes. I would suggest avoiding buying on sites like Amazon and Ebay as phones that are bought are normally not from the UK. And some features won't work on a uk network. As well, software updates not being up to date. Samsung is still selling the S23 for only £599. There is also a trade in available for a discount.

Thanks MN been stung with amazon in the past but didnt realise until no updates. Is there any specific uk serial numbers im looking for google seems vague

Do need to be careful with Amazon mind you to ensure it is a Uk version, particularly with 3rd party. The link on Amazon though comes under Samsung Store.   Think ebay is more risky and would not recommend buying phones/electronics there. Have just purchased from Networks or or  Samsung myself though.
