Good thing android devices have been encrypted by default since android 10. Though for extra protection, auto blocker and the maximum restrictions mode can help harden your security

It's important that a person keeps upto date with software and security patches on their phone. 

And then also help themselves by keeping away from Apk files and links on websites and emails etc.
