Android 16 is introducing Seamless App updates which means your apps will update faster. Normally Android freezes apps for a short period so that they not crash whilst new files are being prepared, Android 16 now performs the optimisations earlier in the process so that when the app is replaced with a new version the freezing only happems for a millisecond, therefore a faster and smoother experience.
