I recently bought a Samsung TV model QN85QN95CCFXZA within the first week we noticed it dims automatically, to the point where its unwatchable. Happens daily - day or night. I thing googled and found this is really an issue with lots of folks - and each article is ALWAYS the same: check the settings - disable:
What Samsung says:
"If your Samsung TV dims or brightens automatically, this isn't a problem. It is a feature that Samsung has added intentionally. The Ambient Light Detection function (also called ECO Sensor on some older models) measures the light in the room and changes the screen brightness automatically to reduce power consumption."
This is awful.. the TV continues to dim no matter what settings are disabled...
1. Brightness Optimization - Check
2. Disable Intelligent Mode - Check
3. Ambient Light Detection - check
4. Anything else - check
Does ANYBODY know how to fix this OR do I have a dud TV? Because NONE of the settings make ANY difference??
