My ssmsung galaxy s10 and s10+ were left on to charge overnight, both phones went into overheat mode closing all open apps (2 apps.on both)

The plus had gotten to a point wherr you could hear the phone almost moving, and finally enough heat to cause phone to shut off. I woke up and saw this putting both phones inside my pc case to cool or if they did catch alight atleast confine it. 

Has anyone had this issue at all with the beta android 11 for samsung galaxy s10 and s10+ as this is very dodgy and making me me weary about charging overnight.

Ooops nothing that serious so far. I have changed like 30% on wireless didn't see any issues. You should send error report from the app...

Hi, I've had that problem, also phone restarting, only been happening since I've got the beta. last night, I had to switch the phone off and leave in my car for 10 mins to cool down

the s10+ back shattered and battery now lasts about 15 minutes, give or take. ive put the back shattering down to me putting the piping hot phone on a cold surface with fans on but screen is also dimmed

I think something or some app is running in the background especially when on charge and all syncing takes place. I would check what apps are using up your battery and what's running in the background. I've not had any issues with mine and battery life has been the same too. I would recommend sending an error report to Samsung, clearing your system cache and see what the battery usage is like in terms of apps.

try a clean install. my s10+ has never rebooted automatically while on beta and definitely no overheating issues either

If you keep noticing this issue, please report it via the Members application.

To make the process even faster, it would be great if you could take your devices to one of our authorized Samsung Centers.

 

In the meantime, please make sure not to place your devices in sunlight, close all apps running in the background and try to avoid multitasking needs.

iv has no issues with this on my wireless charger left on overnight
