Fingerprint enabled apps

All.of my apps that allowed fingerprint sign in have stopped working and basically don't prompt for a fingerprint anymore, they did work at first, but no longer.

One app claims too many failed attempts, which simply isn't the case

Anyone found a fix?

Samsung pass and my bank apps fingerprint still work fine for me.

Have you tried rebooting?

Hello @axgod21 

It might be due to fingerprint data getitng corrupted during the FOTA process.

Try one of the following:

1. Remove fingerprint and create a new one 

2. Go to Settings -> Apps -> Select More options -> Show system apps -> search for 'com.samsung.android.biometrics.app.setting' -> Select it -> Storage -> Clear cache and data

Also remember to submit an error report using Beta Feedback option in Samsung Members app!

This will help our development team to find the source of the problem and eliminate it, so it does not happen in the future.
