There never was any official confirmation and the now expected to start rolling out in South Korea tomorrow so hopefully by next week in the Uk.  Apparently Samsung may release a timetable soon.  https://www.androidpolice.com/samsung-preparing-to-unveil-roadmap-of-one-ui-85-ahead-of-rollout/
