Turn off call record feature

Has anyone found a way to turn off the phone call recording feature and enable to switch it on whenever one want.

The main issue is when driving, touching phone in UK is an offence, and the only current way to stop the call recording is pressing the icon and selecting end call recording.

Several times I've accidentally touched the icon with my face and people I'm talking hear the call recording notification. This is not ok. Need a way to remove the button from talk screen
