Turn off call record feature

Has anyone found a way to turn off the phone call recording feature and enable to switch it on whenever one want.

The main issue is when driving, touching phone in UK is an offence, and the only current way to stop the call recording is pressing the icon and selecting end call recording.

Several times I've accidentally touched the icon with my face and people I'm talking hear the call recording notification. This is not ok. Need a way to remove the button from talk screen

I agree. It shouldn't record automatically and yes in the UK it's an offence to touch a phone whilst driving. I really do not understand why the feature is necessary and if an individual needs this for personal reasons then it should be possible to turn it on or off.
