For some weird reason, I am still on the old version of samsung messages even though I am on a s25 and one ui 8. Anyone else have this problem?

I wasn't aware there was a new version. Do you by any chance mean google messages as the new version?

Samsung messages was removed by default on the s25 series, google messages is the default messaging app normally

Please check for any updates on Samsung Galaxy Store, if there are no updates available you have the newest version for your device installed
