Hey, just wondering if I upgrade to S23 while doing beta testing does this make difference. Would I just be put on the S23 beta testing

Nope, if Beta was still running then you'd need to opt in again via the invite. However, the official Android 14 One UI.6 rollout has already started for some variants of the S23 so if you upgraded then it will likely ship with A.14 or be patch updated to it in the very near future.
