I’ve only recently migrated from iPhone to the S21 Ultra (mainly for the camera, to be honest) but I’m having a real problem understanding how notifications work on the S21 Ultra when compared to iOS!
All I need is for a pop up to appear when the screen is off giving me details of the email / text etc and and then disappear again followed by the screen turning off automatically. Try as I might, I just can’t make this happen.
Im not bothered about the Always on display option - I’d be happy to use that, if that’s what it takes.
I’ve allowed Outlook and WhatsApp to notify but I have to manually activate the screen to see the pop up waiting - the pop up simply won’t activate the screen, but it will play the sound.
Can anyone please tell me how to do it? After 15ish years on iOS, Android is bewildered but I’m keen to learn!
