How to add custom notification sound on One UI 8?

Im having trouble figuring out how to change the notificstion sound to a custom one. For One UI 7, it was very easy, just move the custom notification to the notifications folder and it would show up in settings. However with this new One UI 8 beta update for S24 (Beta 1, 13/08), there is no notifications folder visible.

Any help is appreaciated.

It seems you're having trouble setting a custom notification sound in the One UI 8 Beta on your S24. While the process has slightly changed compared to One UI 7, here’s what you can try:

  1. Move your custom sound file (e.g., .mp3 or .ogg) into the Notifications folder in internal storage. If the folder isn’t visible, you can create one manually.

  2. Go to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Notification sound.

  3. If the file is in the correct format and location, it should appear in the list.
