Samsung Dex no longer works on my laptop. But it does cast to the tv. However I see no way to use any controls such as a tracking to access the controls on my S24 Ultra! My wireless mouse and keyboard do not interact at all.

Just the Windows app, but that was slated to UI7.

What does that mean?? Can you still use DEX on laptops? If so how do you do it?

It used to work wirelessly from my S24 Ultra to my laptop and could use my wireless mouse and keyboard!

Now it only displays on the tv with no way to use any mouse or keyboard or use phone as trackball!!

Unfortunately Samsung discontinued the Dex for laptop , so we start using Link to Windows feature, and I absolutely hate this link to Windows, there's not much of a use for it, it's just screen casting and the ui doesn't look good either. I was using Dex on laptop a lot

Always seems like Samsung shoots itself in the foot all the time!!

Maybe time soon to switch allegiance!! 🤔

Yes utterly useless if all you can do is cast the dex area but NOT interact with it!! 😮
