I don't think there's going to be an official date until it's out really. But if you don't have any major bugs then you should be fine, roaming is just your phone picking up a local network instead of your contracted network in the UK, so it should technically work (obviously make sure roaming is enabled in your phone and with your current network). Maybe bring a back up phone in case something goes wrong
