Wifi Issues on A6 plus

Hi i bought a new samsung A6 Plus yesterday from media market here in Netherlands. ;">and i got a new update notification. i last updated this morning but after new update my wifi stopped working. it is connected to wifi receiving data but can not surf internet can not even massege on whatsapp etc. A nybody here to help me Thanks

That's not how an update is supposed to work .. Have you tried resetting your connection settings? Is your phone in English?

i am currently suffering the same issue. Calling works, but even thought the wifi symbol and my 4g symbol is visible, internet just doesnt work. At times turning it on and off multiple times can make it work again, however, after using it and turning it off, the same problem arises.

Could you try booting the phone in safe mode?

Does the issue still occur?

In safe mode the internet works. In normal mode it doesn t. Both wifi ang 4g symbols show they work. But the internetconjection does not work.

This suggests that the issue is caused by an third party app. Since the safe mode prevents you from using third party apps, and the issue doesn't occur when using safe mode. 

Did you recently install some apps? Try removing them one at a time.

You could also reset the phone after making an back-up with Smart Switch.
