My phone was stolen while on holiday, is there a way to block the phone to make it useless to the thief, i had a lot of sensitive personal info in the phone incl copies of my ID, photos and confidential messages. Any ideas and advise is highly welcome, my network carriers says they can only block the sim but not the phone, help please!

Hi @micsaacs,
I'm sorry to hear your phone has been stolen.
If you've enabled this on your phone, you can use Samsung Find My Mobile or Google Device Manager to block your phone.
Find my mobile: https://findmymobile.samsung.com
Google Device Manager: http://www.android.com/devicemanager
You can also try to use these tools to locate your phone and try to retrieve it with help from the the authorities.
There's one thing: the phone has to be turned on and have an active internet connection, else the services won't be able to reach the phone.

Thanks for your reponse, unfortunately i have not gotten round to activating any of the services you mentioned before my phone got stolen hence my desperation for any alternative way to have the phone blacklisted.
