Since a few weeks I own the S21 Ultra and ever since I have stopped working on my laptop. The Dex experience is fantastisch, yet ... there is something inherently missing in the Dex software infrastructure that must be fixed.
The external monitor that Dex is working on is not recorgnized by other apps as monitor. As a consequency it is not possible to:
- Share desktop screen from teams app
- Use a screen recorder for the desktop app.
If you share screen / record screen the phone screen (apps or Dex mousepad) is recorded, not the desktop screen.
This is a major issue in current times that we non-stop use teams/zoom/etc for our daily work. Dex has the potential to replace a traditional laptop if this would be fixed.
I am more than willing to support this feature, as it is the final fronteer for me to finally ditch my laptop

For suggestions concerning the software and possibilities with Samsung Dex, you can send it through the Samsung Members app. That way your suggestion will reach our R&D (Research and Development) department. Open your Samsung Members app > "Vragen stellen" (ask questions) > Choose "Overige" (Other) and give your suggestion.
As your suggestion is also app-related (Teams) you can contact the app-developer as well.
