Black display with green line on the top

Hi,

When I want to activate my samsung, it activates for a second and then the screen turns black with a green line on the top. If I wait for a couple of minutes it works again, but later I have the same problem again.

I did try re-start as well as re-start in safety mode and I checked if maybe a update was needed (was not, last update was nov so not reason for this problem). Is this something that is worth investigating if I should let it be repaired? The phone is 3 to 4 years old.

Hello,

This sounds like a defective display. A repair is possible but I wouldent recomment spending money on such an old device. Personally I would look at a new phone.
