Hi,
I have a Galaxy S9 (with the standard USB-C port) and Smart View support.
I want to connect it to a projector (or in general in a TV) which has both HDMI and USB ports, but also supports wifi mirroring.
Which is the "best" way to project videos/output from my mobile to the projector?
With "best" way I mean quality- and speed-wise.
1)Wireless mirroring with Smart View?
2) Usb-C to USB cable? (like the one we use in the wall adapters for charging)
3) Usb-c to HDMI cable? (I guess we don't need an HDMI to usb-c adapter as there exist cables with USB-c (male) on the one side and HDMI (male) on the other side).

FYI,
I tried the 1) option (wireless mirroring). Works okay but when I view a video (e.g. on Youtube), the sounds is "breaking" (not smooth). But maybe this has to do with the quality of the projector and not with the protocol communication (the network I don't think it's a problem coz I have a 100MBps fiber and my WiFi on S9 is super strong.
Option 2) (USB-C to normal USB) seems to make no sense, since this does only USB-tethering and I don't see how this would project my S9 screen.
For option 3), I ordered a USB-C to HDMI (male) cable for direction connection (https://www.amazon.nl/uni-HDMI-kabel-compatibel-Thunderbolt-MacBook/dp/B07CL2RHX5/ref=sr_1_1). I will update how it works ( @BruceH why to use an adapter since one cable would work?)
Edit: Update for 3). The cable works fine!

Hi @costini,
You can decide for yourself which provides the best quality. This depends on the network quality.
Let me know how it went and if you still need help.

Thanks for the response @BruceH , but I don't have all the cables to check it. And I was wondering if there's any kind of benchmark, so I could see if there are big differences and thus I could buy the needed cable (well, I mean the USB-C to HDMI cable, coz I have the USB-C to regular USB)

For example, I found the following cable: https://bit.ly/3pUfuG5
This should work to connect to your projector or TV, even in 4K!
Here are some instructions, they are in Dutch, but you could translate through Google: https://bit.ly/2SZJpQD
Let me know if this works for you 😉
