a few days ago I upgraded my XCover6 Pro to Android 14/OneUI6. Now tethering/hotspot no longer works properly: the connected laptops time out when trying to access any website, the DNS cannot be reached. The same computers can tether without issues with other phones.
When tethered to the XCover6 Pro, it is possible to access websites by using the IP address rather than the URL. Hence the connection works in principle, it is the DNS part that fails.
Changes in the "Private DNS" setting on the phone seem to make no difference.
Does anyone know a way to fix this, or is this a bug in OneUI6 and I just have to wait for the patch?
