Wi-Fi calling needs to be on one UI 7 official on the status bar

It should be shown throughout the phone on the status bar with the one UI 7 official when it comes about in the UK it shouldn't even be hidden on the status bar currently on one UI 6.1 it shows the Wi-Fi calling symbol on the status bar which is amazing Samsung you need to do this when the official one is launched so if anybody is reading this from Samsung please do this and make this possible

You haven't mentioned your device or whether you're in beta or not.

Currently in beta WiFi calling can be seen in the quick access panel with a simple tap on or off.

They're referring to that in the beta the WiFi Calling and VoLTE/Vo5G doesn't show unless the quick panel is expanded

I had planned to try the Beta version, but I reconsidered at the last minute due to concerns about potential risks. Therefore, I am currently using One UI 6.1 on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

I have a S24+ with ui 7 

The wifi calling symbol has been removed from the status bar. Please replace it as its very useful.  I don't want to have the quick access panel

Give back the option to see wifi call. It is incredibly useful when travelling and I don't want to pay extorsion roaming charges. I think Samsung doesn't realize how flaky the wifi call feature is. 25-50% of the time it doesn't connect and it never retries the failed connection. You have to go into flight mode and back out to have it attempt the reconnect and you have to verify visually that it is ON. So you cannot take it for granted that it actually is on when the wifi is active.

+ ... I know its tangential, but can someone explain to me why I can't use LTE or wifi call on simcard A when simcard B has the internet. I can AP share the internet so everyone can use wificall EXCEPT for the device that actually shares the internet. This must be an oversight. I have to have a second phone with internet on esim so I can call everywhere without roaming. Madness.

We absolutely need the wifi calling icon on the status bar. For those depending on wifi calling this is like removing the signal icon altogether. It's such a bad decision for something so basic. I'm never buying another phone without this icon as I depend on it to be reachable for my work. I can't afford to have no connection and not even know it.

I agree with you I mean why would they want to do that I didn't buy samsung for it to be gotten rid of it really annoys me really dismays me I don't even know how half the time if it's on anymore I have to go in my notification bar I can't believe they did this
