Hey @MartinStorer,

Thanks for your feedback, it'll get passed on to our developers.

I agree, I remember just Swiping to the Left to delete. Please bring this option Back

So why isn't there a way to just swipe and delete a text conversation- I mean seriously the current way is tedious and annoying

To be honest, neither Samsung nor it's developers are concerned with making your life any better. This issue has been talked about on boards for several years and NO ONE has even approached the issue (outside of the usual "I'll bring it to developers " = it's dying right here, no one will hear of this)

Hi all.

The Messages app developers have got back to us. Whilst they they do think that the suggestion is good for dealing with a singular message thread, they feel that the current functionality is more efficient in being able to handle several message threads at once - which is one of the key aims of the Messages app currently.

Appreciate that it's not what you wanted, but it's worth bearing in mind that at least the app developers are now aware of your feedback... and you never know exactly what may be implemented in the future.

Yeah, nevermind what the endusers feel or want. Which was kind of the whole point of end-users coming here to offer constructive requests to make the product more useful. But...the developers apparently know better. Thus, this end-user will go back to a much superior app.

Was looking for a way to 'delete text by swiping'. Couldn't believe Samsung doesn't give u such a basic option
