There's already e-sims, adding more mechanical parts means more points of failure

No way would I want that. I've never had a problem with ejecting a SIM tray.

I see where your going with this @ideas 

Send it via your Samsung Members App. 

If a button I think there would be a chance of people accidentally pressing it. 

If software driven there would need to be a lock in place. 

For me I'm still currently happy with the sim ejection tool used in the dedicated sim tray hole.
