Hi there  ,  basically  my phone is constantly dropping wifi signal even if I'm right next to the router. It is a high performance long range router, no problems with Internet connection, no problems with other devices in the household, only my phone. It is so annoying that I'm thinking to sell it or whatever!! Seriously!! I have had a S6 before and that one was fine, but this s8+ is getting under my skin. Otherwise really good device,, only the annoying WiFi

Is there a fix to this problem?

Thank you

Some devices prefer 2.4gzh over 5ghz so perhaps try connecting the phone to one or the other to test it.

Most routers will let you split the frequencies.

Forget the network in your phones wifi connection and reset it back up connecting perhaps to 5ghz first.

Lastly a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can run a diagnostic on the phone to test it.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
