I need some help.

So, I want to move all the files I can from my phone to my PC. The issue is, only some of them appear in the Windows File Explorer when I try to move them over.

For example, I have a gallery folder on my phone called 'Inspiration' (full of pictures and gifs), which has around 4000 pictures in it.  This folder does show up on my computer (transferring images via USB) in the DCIM folder, but only has about 100/200 images in it.

I also have several other images in other gallery folders that don't show up on my PC. I've tried Transfer files, Transfer Images, Connect a MIDI Device, and Charge this phone (the only options that show up when I plug in my device), but I can never seem to access all of the files.

A Note:  The reason I have 4000+ files in one gallery folder is because I thought that if I put them all in one place it would make it easier to transfer them. Didn't think that wouldn't work, to be honest.

Another Note: I'm not sure where these files are saved to (the ones that aren't showing up), but I can only seem to find them through the gallery.

Any help would be HUGELY appreciated. I'll be more than glad to share more information / talk with someone about it if they think they can be of some help.

Hi @Charlockle
To transfer the files on to the PC i recommend downloading Smart switch on to the PC. and using this. You can download this from the Samsung website.

The reason that you might not be able to view all the images on the PC may be because some of them may be stored on the Samsung cloud. This may be why you can view them in the gallery but not on the computer.
Hope this helps. any issues let me know.
