S20 FE lost wifi calling tried everything help!!

Since the lastest update I have lost the wifi calling option, signal at home is awful so constantly getting 'emergency calls only' or 'no signal'. Really frustrating as samsung say my provider needs to add access the back, the provider says that Samsung need to do it. Round and round I go!!! had wifi calling for years but now its gone 😭have tried network reset, soft reset, sim out, reset home router.....help me please!

Have you tried setting wifi calling mode to "wifi preferred". It usually defaults to "mobile network preferred".

Wifi calling is hard to diagnose as it's literally a vpn that doesn't give any info on errors.

Contact your network provider and have then reactivate the wifi calling on your account and push config down again. That should fix it

Go to your phone app
Go to Settings
Go to wifi calling

Is it toggled on there?
If yes then all should be good.
If no toggle it on.

Ensure it is set to wifi preferred

If it isn't there, your network needs to resend the settings to your device.

The whole 'wifi calling' option is missing from my phone, the network provider say they cant do it and samsumg also say they cant - i am going round in circles with the pair of them😔

The network provider is the ONLY ones that can do it. What network you on? Insist on speaking to senior tech guy and ask him to setup again, don't get off the phone until she/he does it

Used to happen alot many years ago and eahx time I got them to fix it.

They are fobbing me off saying they cant add it back as it was removed in a samsung update (Tesco mobile) and nobody senior available.😭

I've had the same problem. I've reset my phone completely, after a backup of course, & wi-fi calling is back. Phone wanted to install a security update, which I did, & wi-fi calling had gone again. I've reset it again & left the update pending.
I'm also Tesco mobile - the staff in the shops were all really helpful, but completely stumped. They'd not heard of this happening before.

Hey! Yeah i refused the updated after doing a full phone reset and had wifi calling back until today when the phone did a restart so updated again = wifi calling has gone again. Soooo frustrating!!!!!!

Do u have s20 also? Its not just us, waiting call back from samsung 🤞🤞
