Samsung has its own reasons for many things,
and if sometimes it sounds quite nonsensical to us,
we can hardly change anything.
In the past,
they said four major system upgrades, and I believe that Samsung Galaxy A52 was released before this decision.
Even if it was a solid midranger,
probably not important enough to extend this policy to this model.
On the paper,
it's an old, obsolete *****.
Samsung Galaxy A56 5G is around the corner.
In fact,
it's still good enough
to many people.
Buy a Samsung Galaxy S24 instead,
because it's still an amazing phone, technically a flagship,
and is it possible to buy it for a similar price as A56 5G will be.
Some lower models are more important to Samsung,
because they are hugely popular in poor developing countries,
where Samsung is competing with Infinix and Tecno,
rather than with Apple, Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo.

A lot of these models aren't getting Android 15 until almost the end of April. This is why I got a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL last November when my S23 Ultra turned 2 instead of another Samsung with barely any hardware upgrades let alone software. I can overlook silly little aesthetics like changing the font for the massive upgrade on the Pixel Camera, it's phenomenal and I'm all about pics and vids. However I've been using Android 15 for months and nothing stands out in terms of usability, can't see any major differences between 14 and 15, you all aren't missing anything 🤷🏼♀️
