Implementation of Nastaliq Urdu Font

Dear Samsung OneUI developers,

My name is Hassan Karim, and I'm reaching out to you regarding the implementation of the Nastaliq Urdu font on Samsung devices.

It has come to my attention that many Urdu-speaking Android users, approximately 98% of them, are eager to utilize the Nastaliq font on their devices. Currently, Android lacks built-in support for Nastaliq, unlike Apple devices and certain Magisk modules.

Many Urdu-speaking individuals are opting for iPhones simply because they come with pre-installed Nastaliq font support, a feature not available on Android devices. I believe that by implementing the Nastaliq Urdu font as a pre-installed option, Samsung can cater to the preferences of a significant portion of its user base.

It's important to note that the implementation of the Nastaliq Urdu font will not disrupt or inconvenience current Naskh font users who prefer not to use Nastaliq.

I kindly request that you consider adding the Nastaliq Urdu font to the list of pre-installed fonts on Samsung devices, similar to the inclusion of NotoNaskhArabic.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The NotoNastaliqUrdu font, developed by Google, is now free of any bugs.

The main issue that was addressed was the clipping problem, which has been successfully resolved.

To reproduce the clipping issue, follow these steps:

1. Scale (decrease) the NotoNastaliqUrdu font size by at least 20%.

2. Adjust the font glyphs for Android.

3. Give it pre-installed and provide an option to switch to Nastaliq from Naskh in Regional preferences settings or use the ur-Arab family lang like in the Magisk Module.
