I just want rid of the beta android version. I don't seem to get any updates anymore and apps like google pay and my banking app think that my device is routed so can't use all of the functionality.

I've dowgraded to nougat successfully before only to be put back on the beta version of oreo once I next updated.

Just tried a restart and now the member app is talking about one ui beta, definitley not on that.

Anyone got any advice? Apart from buy a new phone :smiling-face:

Hi @GazTonks.

Some info on how to quit the Beta Programme and restore back to the previous official software version:

"You can cancel your participation by going into the Samsung Members app and going to Settings > Galaxy Beta Programme > Deregister.

You can re-install software by using the PC version of Smart Switch. Once the software is re-installed, the device will be reset and all data that was generated during the Beta Program will be erased.

All data which had been backed up before installing the beta software can be recovered, but there may be limitations in recovering data that was created after installing the beta software.

If you need assistance, Samsung Service Centres support the reinstallation of official software."

(From the How do I join the One UI Beta Programme? FAQ's)

That screenshot you posted shows that your phone is currently on Oreo/Android 8/Samsung Experience version 9.0 (One UI Beta would show  'Android 9/Samsung Experience version 10').

Not totally sure how you managed to get the One UI Beta on an S8+ though... :thinking-face:

Now you see why I'm so confused. I've tried the above and ended up back on the beta version when I updated next. Unfortuately the smart switch application on the PC just tells me I'm on the latest version now so can't rollback.

A bit stuck but not sure if calling Samsung will help. Worth a try though I guess.

The screenshot above shows what I see in the members app when I try the deregister option even with my phone showing the version in the next screenshot.
