I have been sent on 2 different occassions a link in which i have to put the pin code sent to me by the sender. My phone will not type anything in the pin code box but if i forward message to my husband and open the link i can enter the PIN no without a problem. We ahve the same phone. I have checked our settings and they appear the same. My friend also tried it on her J6 and it worked for her
