Facebook notifications not working ?

So I logged on to Facebook through Samsung internet and now push  notifications won't work for the app and I've tried every solution I can find. Any tips ?

I access Facebook through the Samsung Browser as the App imo is resource hungry however even after using the app my notifications continue. 

I would suggest to go through your phones notifications settings and app permissions with a fine tooth comb.

Then try a soft soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On.

I've checked all permissions and settings and all are fine. Think it's an issue with my Facebook account now.

Are you able to test that theory out by testing your sim in another phone ?

Hmmm not tried that but have tried using other facebook accounts on this phone and they work fine. Its definetley a facebook issue just wondered if anyone else has expierneced the same probelm?

I have the same problem. Notifications not working on my account but it work just fine when i log in another account.

We just had the same problem. Tried everything and nothing worked.  Then tried taking out the sd card and it was back to normal.  Hope this helps.

What happens when you put back the sd card?

Haven't tried putting it back in.  Other parts of the phone were failing as well.  Eg. Gallery would always freeze, games not installing after downloading them but now they are back to normal.

So, any suggestions for the same problem when I *don't* have an SD card in my phone?
