I am new on my first smartphone and I downloaded the Weather24 app but now don't want it but can't seem to delete it. Help please!

Hi there,
Press & hold the app widget and then you can see right corner the option uninstall

I tried that as that is what it says in the manual but I had to follow what a person with a similar phone said and that was to go to settings but thank you for your advice.
