Greetings and felicitations, hope you're all doing OK. The other day I downloaded the latest Android update and I notice I have now lost the press-to-hold alternate numerical characters from the keyboard of my trusty old J600FN in certain apps, principally when typing in the browser URL/search bar. The alphabetical accents are still there but not the fractions and "to the power of" numbers! This is a bit of a nuisance as it is SO much quicker to use that to run sums (usually including the ² character) this way and get an immediate answer than to go and call up the clunky calculator app. These characters do still work in other apps, including this web form and Samsung Notes, but that's not where I use them on a daily basis! Is there any way of recovering this functionality? If not, could Samsung/Google please reinstate it at the next update... if you don't want to use it you won't even know it's there, but for those who do, well, I'm really missing it.
