I've just updated to Android 7 and I get this message on my AOD screen however double tapping on the screen does nothing nor does double tapping the home button nor swiping left or right. I've also tried turning AOD off and on again and changing the theme/view all to no avail. Does anyone have any other suggestions on his to remove this message or how I can get to the tutorial? Many thanks.

Pretty simple fix for this that worked for me.. turn off the phone, turn it back on holding down the volume down key. This starts the phone in safe mode. When aod is on the message should still be displayed but you should be able to double click and start the tutorial. Once viewed it doesn't come back!

If this was my phone id try a soft reboot by turning the device Off and On.

If no joy then shut it Off again and from a set series of button pressess that takes you into the devices system file system clear the cache.

As a last resort create a back up and factory reset.

A Samsung service location or Samsung Experience Store can run a diagnostic on the phone.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Sorry that didn't work.

So a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre location should be able to help and or try their Online Live Chat or telephone line.

I'm getting this message too and can't get rid of it. It's annoying. I've tried pretty much everything I can think of. Might just have to remove aod.

I just got a new note 9 and was able to fix this issue as it was annoying me to. I just held the power button and clicked restart. When the phone came back up at first the AOD didnt show. I gave it a few seconds and it came up. Double tapped the little bar and the tutorial came up. Completed it and now its gone forever. I also updated my AOD in settings>lockscreen before doing this.
