this has been a permanent issue for around a year now to the point I had to swap to a different phone. Basically when u press the WiFi button it turns slightly grayed out to show that you pressed it but it refuses to even turn on, and when you go to the area where you are normally displayed different networks and WiFi to connect to, its just permanently stuck on 'turning on and as soon as you exist off it it goes back to 'turned off, when you insert a sim card the mobile data works. completely fine but the WiFi still doesn't want to even become enabled, I've tried multiple factory resets and everything, and no i dont need to factory reset it again as it completely reset at this point with zero apps on it. I'm completely lost.

UPDATE: booked a repair at EE through samsung as I still have a valid 2 year warranty, the issue has

I've got Samsung Galaxy Fold 3. This problem started couple of days ago, I've tried everything. However, the Wi-Fi problem can't be resolved, and this's a headache. 1708823943521.jpg

You haven't enabled Flight mode by any chance have you? Try toggling Flight mode on and off a couple of times.

The problem is beyond toggling flight ✈️ mode, I've tried everything, and the problem keeps persisting. Its automatically switched off when switched on. Here's another picture. However, Wi-Fi shows no connections.1708964609018.jpg1708964663344.jpg1708964691101.jpg

Hey, og poster here, I went through samsungs website to book a repair for the phone and I'm in the uk so the nearest offical Samsung repair shop was in an EE store in Birmingham,  Samsung phones have a 2 year warranty so I recommend booking ( https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/ ) in with ee to fix it, my phones being fixed under the warranty for free and im picking it up this evening, ill edit this post if the issue hasn't or couldn't be fixed but if not then you can assume it's all been fixed. TLDR: book in an appointment if uve purchased your phone no longer than two years ago

I have a S22 Ultra is there a way to see if it is a hardware issue. It was working fine and then it just quit. I thought it was the router and checked but it was on and working. All other devices are still working as they should. I have gone through all the set/reset operations that have been prescribed but the wifi button still stays grayed out when you click on it. The last update was July 29 2024 and it has been working good until a few hours ago then just quit. I have no way to check if it needs an update because I do not have a working sim card in it either.

Mine started doing this after a recent android update a couple weeks ago it is beyond frustrating, it is not the phone it definitley has to do with the android update as it was fine before that happened
