Unable to update from android 8 to android 10 on samsung s9 plus sm-g965f

Hi @CHMultimedia , I use Samsung Galaxy S9+ models (SM-G965F) but I can't seem to update to android 10 version. Attached is my software information. Your guidance to resolve this issue will be much appreciated. Thanks

Looking at your screenshot it's shows last update being Oct 2018 , it's now 2023 5 years since you last updated. Where's it been for them lost years. You'll probably can't now

Hi @Greyark , I'm not too sure about the link. I think it's perhaps best to visit a Samsung Support Centre so that you know for sure that what you're getting on your phone is official.

But from your screenshot it appears that you've got a UK-origin Galaxy S9+ that's somehow found its way to Nigeria - which is probably why it's not received any updates. (The tell-tale signs are that 'Service provider SW version', which in this case ends in 'ECT/ECT/XEU'. 'ECT' is a Nigerian CSC; 'XEU' is a UK equivalent.)

Are you based in Nigeria by any chance?

Yes @AntS, I am based in Nigeria. I was gifted the phone by an uncle that lives in the UK. Is there a way i can make the update online without having to visit a support centre ?
