I'm loving my s21 ultra, but for I while I was thinking to my self tge the phone feels choppy and laggy at times. Well I ended up noticing that it's because of the variable refresh rate. Samsung needs to do a lot more work on it. For example, when I'm in a 60 fps game, it stays at 60hz which is fine, however, when I pull the quick settings down, that is also at 60hz with the game, making it look choppy and laggy. This happens on a number of applications. This also happens when receiving some brief notifications, both while the phone is on, and when the always in display is activated. Samsung please fix this, or add an option to lock on to 120hz.

The s20 kept 120hz consistently with the "High" setting. They should have kept "High" as an option for the s21 series and adaptive as an option. I feel the screen on the s20 has a better experience than the s21 and it shouldn't be like that.
