Smart switch restore keeps being cancelled

I am trying to restore data to my s21 whichi backed up to PC using smart switch. When I try to restore smart switch finds the correct restore file, enables me to select eg pictures or apps but when I click restore every time it gives the message "restoring data to [my] s21 has been cancelled" before it has even started. 

I've deleted and reinstalled phone and pc apps and it makes no difference. Does anyone have any ideas or fixes or is there  way to access/recover items from the back up data file?

bro i face this problem for while and no solution on internet so now i got a solution after try diffrent methods so first what you need to do just replace your data cable if you are using type c to type c acble then replace it with Usb to type c cable its works, no need any software aur others method just change your cable dont think your cable is original or something else just replace it Thanks....
