Samsung wallet

I cannot add debit cards to samsung wallet only credit cards. I deleted app and tried again but no joy. I have a credit card and debit card for two banks but only the credit cards for each bank can be added. I have had debit cards added previously but now its not possible.

Do you get any errors while adding debit cards? As some banks do not support it, also are your cards contactles? Is there any verification problem while adding debit cards?

Thanks. I can enter the details but when it contacts the card issuer it says it cannot be registered. This is two different banks so not a bank problem. The cards are contactless but so are the credit cards which are added no problem.

You will have to contact your bank or card provider if you see the “card cannot be registered” error. The card is likely incompatible with Samsung Pay. This happens with some debit cards that are only meant for offline use, especially those that aren’t Visa Debit or Mastercard Debit. You can find the complete list of supported banks and cards on Samsung’s official website.

It might also be a problem with the bank network that interrupts the authentication process. If that’s the case, try adding the card later.

I got around all my card issues with Samsung Wallet. I use the Curve App. which, in turn, has its own card, which goes into your Samsung Wallet.

You can add any card from any bank into the curve app. Plus, many other types of card, tickets, loyalty cards, and the list goes on, and they can then be used in Samsung Wallet.

I have used the Curve App for a few years now. Let me know how you get on.

I always use Google pay and never have an issue with credit or debit cards. As most members on here

Yeah there was reddit thread about curve with samsung pay, but to be honest I always use Google pay and have no issues whatsoever

I've read that a lot of people had same issue, and people found solutions like using vurve or clearing cache etc, personally I use Google wallet works all the time hassle free
