In Samsung cloud app settings info app details in store. It says Downloaded from Samsung cloud. I went to uninstall updates then reinstall it. It says the same. I had cleared cache partition via PC. Then was going to repair app but it's no longer there. all other apps say galaxy store. I cannot find samsung cloud on app store apart from the one that says samsung cloud for wear google playstore but it says doesn't work on my device. Also I cannot see the Samsung Contacts app in my apps in galaxy store to what's going on

Hi, Samsung cloud can be found here

Settings>Tap your profile picture. Tap Samsung Cloud. Tap 3 dots top rh corner. Tap settings. Toggle on Show Samsung cloud on Apps screen.

Also be sure to check settings>apps>Samsung apps. You should find both Samsung Cloud and Samsung contacts in there1724182462349.jpg1724182462382.jpg1724182462412.jpg1724182949742_1724182949737_0.jpg

This is what I mean about samsung cloud the bottom -about details in store. I know you can put samsung cloud on app screen but it still says the app is downloaded from its own app . And its greyed out.It doesn't seem to be backing up at moment automatically when charging too. Also when I check the samsung contacts app details in store it takes me to galaxy store but it does not show it in the app store nor under my apps. I do not have samsung internet on my phone I use Chrome only. Thank you anyway.1724184327209_1724184327200_0.jpg

It's installed when first setting up the phone. What are you wanting to do exactly? Have you got a problem with the Cloud app?

I think I might have, it just doesn't seem to be backing up daily. But curious why the actual app is downloaded from its own app. It might rectify itself if any software updates come soon to s21 .

Try clearing the cache and data from the app.
Settings>apps. Scroll down to Samsung Cloud and tap on it. Tap Storage. Tap clear cache and data.

Also try uninstalling updates. Settings>apps. Scroll down to Samsung Cloud and tap on it. Tap 3 dots top rh corner. Tap Uninstall updates.

Samsung Cloud auto backs up under certain criteria.1724185824205_1724185824197_0.jpg1724186041325_1724186041318_0.jpg1724186135608_1724186135601_0.jpg

You can back up manually as per my last screenshot (obviously toggle on the different items you want to include in your backup). But it really should be auto backing up as per the criteria in 2nd screenshot. If it isn't then you may uninstall updates if you wish and then reinstall them (1st screenshot).
