s9 slow recent app load and task kill?

hi,

just got my s9 ... nice device ... but even with performance mode set on ... still seems to kill off aged recent apps 😕

....is there a way to stop it?  ... i heard it kills them off after 3 hours

right got dev mode enabled and can see that only 1gb of ram free 😕
