AUE8 update JUNE Security patch

This latest update is the 11th for the Global, Exynos, S21 series and is currently being rolled out by Samsung.

This update is for camera, general bugfixes and June security patch.

Initially, as always, this is rolling out to the non-carrier branded, stock Samsung CSC codes first.

The Galaxy S21 Global, Exynos, devices that will receive this update are...

• S21 5G model SM-G991B
• S21+ 5G model SM-G996B
• S21 Ultra 5G model SM-G998B

This latest release replaces the G99*BXXU3AUE1 May build.

It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you.

Let's hope it fixes the wakelock. When phone is stationary it doesn't drain as fast. But as soon as you carry in pocket and move around it drains like crazy. Today's battery. Lost 22% in 7 hours standby and 15min screen time.

I have the same issue
for me it lost around 15% overnight, which was about of 5.5h of standby
I used it without my SIM card and it had more than 8hr of screen time on a single charge, but after I put my SIM card in, it went down to 4-5h
I am curently backing up my photos and will do a full factory reset. Hopefully that will help 
Also I will get a new SIM card from my provider

I've done 3 factory resets since owing the phone and it helps for a week or 2 and then back to ***** battery again. Especially this wakelock business. Samsung need to get it sorted or I'm selling and getting a phone that doesn't have that wakelock.

Yeah, like I said while not having SIM card in it the phone was amazing, and then boom, as soon as I put it in the battery went to ****.  Hopefully this update will help it because everything else on the phone so far is amazing.

Yep just the battery life needs fixing.

Make sure you report as error through this app and mention the battery drain. Also the June update should land this week 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

also what I have realised is that Google Play Services spend a lot of battery, before it used like 3-4% of battery, now it uses around 9%, so yeah idk
I downloaded "AccuBattery" and it shows One UI as one of the most power consumpting things. 
I really hope this gets fixed because before this S21, I had a crappy old phone that was 3 years old and this upgrade is amazing for me, still cannot believe I own it
