So I bought the new S21 Ultra on the pre order the day it was announced. I was one of the lucky ones to get early so I could leave a review.
Coming from a Note 10+ that I had for a year and a half, I was really excited for the S21 Ultra, but was really disappointed with the battery life. I've had the phone for 5 days now and since the very beginning I've not been able to use the phone for the whole day on a single charge. It's been giving me screen on times comparable to my Note 10+ (4/5 hours) which is a much older device, but I thought maybe this was the way all S21 ultra's were behaving, just not very good battery life.
BUT, yesterday all the youtubers started to publish they're videos comparing batteries with older S devices and Iphones and their S21s were doing amazing, giving them screen on times of up to 13 hours!
I contacted support but they said this would be normal as my phone was still learning user patterns... but I'm not sure if that would affect it as bad as it is at the moment.
What do you guys think? Should I send the phone back? I'm really concerned that I just spent all this money on a new phone for it to be so bad with battery.

You need to check your settings have power saving on. Chrome does nothing to the battery in my phone. I have AOD all the time, 60hz and WQHD+ on. I have no background apps allowed except weather and Telegram. Battery lasts 24 hours easily. My usage is regular. I play no games. 5g is off as we dont have 5g in our area as yet.

I have wifi on all day, 5g and wqhd+, adaptive screen, vivid. I have fingerprint sensor on all the time, aod is tap to show. First few days or before the Feb update I only got 3-4 hours of screen on time. Now I'm an hour better 4-5hours of screen on time.
I play an hour of CODM daily with high graphics and very high refresh rate.
Battery life is still not the best, but it lasts for 14-24hours with 4-5hours of screen on time.

Where is your mobile purchased? To me it looks like most UK users have the biggest battery problem

Anyone in the UK managed yet to download the latest update that other counties have received in past few days?

What utter BS is this? Been a loyal Samsung owner for 10years and purchased this expensive device only to be met by miserable battery life?
Galaxy S21 Ultra (Exynos chip). Second day of using it. 60hz refresh rate, no AOD, 5G off. I have been caught up with other stuff today so haven't even used it much.
Shocking.

My battery was terrible. I ended up calling Samsung today and there picking the phone up Tuesday and sending me a new one, it used 50% battery in 1:30 minutes. They seemed fine to send a new one so hopefully that works
