at first i notice flickering lines on my device specially when playing games. I ask the samsung support and instructed me to soft reset my phone. then it turned green and white display and overheat when stayed open for a while.
is it a screen problem or just an update issue?

I am having the same issue with my S20 Ultra 5G. I woke up on a Monday start of a new business week, to an unusable phone. It just displays white greenish flickering screen. This is really disappointing, I took care of this phone, It cost me a lot to have it, and yet this what we are getting from their flagship product. I am reading here that the repair would cost 16K Pesos? I hope there would be consideraritions else I will not buy a samsung again

Need some advice. how do you enable debugging mode to connect to vysor when flickering issue is so bad that you are not able to see anything on screen. I'm able to connect to Dex but it doesnt allow me to change display settings as you've described above. Any pointers that you have to offer will be helpful.

Sad to say, Samsung is not doing anything about this.
Another sad part is that, when I spoke with the person on the Service Center, I specifically asked if there's any memo about it.
The lady took awhile searching and said that they only have memos on the other flagship device(as i remember, S9, S10 and NOTE 10) stating there are issues with the display.
That made me wonder, seems that this screen issue started way back and probably, 1 more year, they'll have a memo(for free repair) for the S20 series.
Anyway, I already have another phone from a different manufacturer so this S20 phone will be my last samsung device. 😂
**It's okay to spend much for a phone since you're expecting a premium device, premium function, lasting durability. But this device only met the 'Premium Price' description 🤣

Smh Samsung, never returning to this brand again. I recently received this problem after the update, now the phone is in the junk. This is their issue, but DO NOTHING ABOUT IT and expect us to pay couple bucks to repair which cost a lot without warranty. I already went to the service centre and they act like this issue never happened before lmao. I was hoping to at least be able to back up my phone data but that’s not happening as the screen need to be fixed first.

Still this issue is ongoing and service centers asking to replace display on customer cost is insane. They clearly defend with warranty period.
I am wondering - What a design!!! Exactly within 3 months of warranty expiration, the device's one of the crucial component fails. This would not cause any alarm in the market as most of the displays are fragile. Even if its not physically broken with a BUG it breaks internally. This way they get addition cost from Customer as a TAX for using the phone longer.

i have the same issue / experience yesterday. the screen just displayed flickering green and white lines. i was not able to use my phone the entire afternoon and panicked that i lost all my data. this morning, i tried pressing the power off and volume control, after so many tries, i'm now able to see my screen. i hope its just a software problem and an update from samsung should fix this.
i have been a samsung owner for a long time and this is the first time i encountered a problem like this. considering, this is a high end model. hello samsung, please fix this.
