The phone has been great so far but only 3 4 minutes in a Google Duo call it starts burning my hand. Upper fron and back of the phone are getting very hot when upper left part at the frame literally can not be touched. It os getting that hot.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've not used it yet much but already noticed how hot is getting. Is this normal?

Very poor optimisation of the camera software... A lot more demanding apps like games warms up the phone which is normal but it is not even close to the heat produced after I open the camera app without even shooting... Just switching between lenses and the phone gets really hot. I think they will be able to fix it with an update hopefully sooner than later.

This is a screenshot of my CPU Check, 46 degrees! 🌡🔥🔥🔥 It overheats all the time, not just when I go on the cameras and the battery life is so bad. 2 days in and my on screen time is about 4 hours battery hasn't lasted over 7 hours.

I'm getting the exact same problem. I've got the latest update. I'm in the UK using Exynos chip. I know there were problems with the last Exynos chip on the S20 line but it's incredibly annoying that this new chip has the same issues. What's the point in touting incredible cameras if they can't do basic functions! I wish they would just ship the Snapdragon chip. stop trying to out do it. The 888 is plenty powerful!

I think generally the problem are not Google Duo itself, but the camera is at fault. I am having this problem with my S21+ phone overheating just by using the camera itself or videocall on FB messenger. Doesnt take more than 3-4 minutes before I can boil an egg there. I just took a hard reset this morning, thinking that reset would solve the problem as many had advise, but the problem are still there.
