How do I set my phone to RCS setting

Go to your messages app
Click on 3 dots / lines and access settings
RCS should be the first option, slide to light up blue.

You're now using RCS messaging.

on Samsung Messages it is simply called Chat Settings with procedure @Piper123  described.    with Google Messages it is RCS Chats. on Google Messages format is  profile,Message Settings-RCS Chats.
