The proximity sensor on my S21 is working properly, according to the test in Samsung Members, but every third-party "sensors" app I've tried reports it as permanently at max range, wherever I put my hand. Any idea what the problem is? Maybe a permissions problem, or a recent change to the API that causes apps to misread the sensor?
I was hoping to find an app to work around the "AOD stays on in pocket" bug, but if third-party apps can't even read the proximity sensor properly then I don't hold out much hope.
