Problems after Android 12 update

I'm on a S20 Ultra and after updating to A12, I've noticed way more problems with the phone. 
For one, restarting. I'm not sure why but now my phone randomly restarts itself either when I'm turning the flashlight on, changing volume, or opening an app, regardless of battery power.
I've noticed a lot of issues with other apps not responding as well as they used to, for example sound not coming through on some apps, or generally poor device performance when opening an app.

I have Samsung Note 10+ 5g and since Android update 2 weeks ago, I have numerous issues and now seriously considering move to a different brand. First of all, number of my photos was deleted after an update. Fortunately, had everything saved in cloud. Number of apps stopped working correctly, and yes, I have them up to date. Cache cleared, etc... Phone is slower when using basic functions and it's visible. Even Google maps takes extra time when trying to launch set destination and with Android auto, sometimes, it takes 2-3 minutes to work, when before an update, it was instant. Some Apps are throwing error messages at random... Is this has become a norm now for releasing new/updated software without proper testing???

Ever since I updated my S20 Ultra to A12 I've been unable to connect it to my Bose L1 Pro Pa systems. As soon as it tries to make a bluetooth connection it will turn off my PA. At first I thought it was a problem with the PA or the app it uses, but after hours of testing it all leads back to the A12 update on my phone. Worst update experience I've ever had.

Same here, my Camera will work sometimes then it just freezers and switches to video so I have to switch it back.. ????

Hi,

I also held so long not to update my mobile m21 around 2 years, it was running on android 10. But after getting update of android 12, I couldn't control myself to update my phone. So I decided to update it, but before going ahead I taken some precautions. And by following it I have successfully updated my phone with no error. It is being around 10 days when I updated my phone. 

The precautions that I had taken to update my phone was: Firstly I reseted my phone by taking backup all of my data. And I installed each updates one by one. I updated my phone from A10 to A11 and then installed some security patch then I updated from A11 to A12. I downloaded 10 GB while updating my phone that day and my whole day went for updating it.

And after getting A12 in my phone I again reseted it to make it fresh start the phone.By this method I successfully updated my phone from A10 to A12.

I recommend to install all the updates as I done. And also recommend not to update your phone once it become older than 2 years and if you have got latest updates.

Stricly restricted, otherwise you face problem in your device.

Hi Everyone, I have update my Samsung s20+ to android version 12 on 18 August 2022. And today 23 August 2022, my phone screen show slightly yellow and some blur line, plus it overheat.
I have try to restart, but the issue still ongoing. Once I on my phone back, the screen start to overheat after few second.

 

May I know any solution for this ?

First try > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too. 

If that does not help then try > Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.

Hi, thank you for your assistance.

I have try both way, but the issue still exist.

now my phone will recover for few hour, then back to yellowish screen and overheat.

I think need to contact support for this issue, or unless they have update again.

I have the same issue, after software update to version 14.1.1 my phone S20 plus and all my apps are crashing from power director to YT studio. What has to be done fix this issue? Samsung Help!

Hi, I am having real problems with my S20FE5G. Most times when I use the Camera which is almost every day it Freezes and then the phone shuts down and reboots.I. am 75 so not very technically minded but I have carried out all the Tests and Recommendation but cannot fix it. Please can someone help.
Always bought Samsung Phones and been happy but this 6 month old S20FE5G is a nightmare.
